Frequently Asked Questions Brides Want To Know

When should I start shopping for my dress?

We recommend that brides begin shopping 9 to12 months before the wedding. We find that having selected your wedding date and venue makes for a more informed choice when selecting your dress. This allows you to select a gown that is both comfortable and appropriate for the setting and helps to avoid any rush fees.

Do I need an appointment?

We are exclusively by appointment only. You may book your appointment online with our appointment scheduler and it will always be confirmed by phone by one of our associates. We plan your private appointment by prepping dresses based on our pre- appointment consultation. Appointments are one hour long. There is a non-refundable $50.00 appointment fee. Should you decide to shop with us, this fee is applied to the purchase of your wedding dress.

What are the price ranges for your gowns?

Our gowns start at $3,000 and can go up to $15,000. Most gowns will require alterations and can be done with our in-house seamstress for an additional fee.

Should I make an appointment if my wedding is fewer than six months away?

Select gowns can be purchased outside of our typical lead times and may incur a rush shipping fee. We also have a limited number of "off the rack" gowns available for as-is purchase.

How many people may accompany me to my appointment?

We ask that you limit your guests to three. Most brides are able to make a confident decision when they limit their guests to only those whose style and opinions they trust implicitly.

When should I schedule my first fitting?

You will be contacted once your gown is complete to schedule your first fitting for alterations. This is typically eight weeks before your wedding.

What should I bring to my first fitting?

Please bring the shoes and undergarments you plan to wear on your wedding day to ensure the gown is fitted properly.

What is a trunk show?

A trunk show is an event exhibiting a designer's most recent collection, typically featuring styles not currently in stores. If you find a gown you love at a trunk show please be prepared to purchase before the event ends, as it may no longer be available for purchase once the trunk show is over.
